Back in 2010, Red Bull Racing explored the hypothetical idea of a concept racer bound by no existing rules and regulations. The car caused quite a stir when it was unveiled in GranTurismo 5, and years on its envelope-pushing design remained as revolutionary as ever.
Enter 2013, and the fictional concept racer has received a complete makeover. The result is the X2014, an evolution of the regulation-free racing breed. The car will be featured in Gran Turismo 6, scheduled for release on 6 December.
Oak Racing has commissioned a bespoke “Art Car” just in time for the 90th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Designed by noted French sculptor Fernando Costa, the Le Mans Prototype will compete at the La Sarthe circuit this June.
