Back in 2010, Red Bull Racing explored the hypothetical idea of a concept racer bound by no existing rules and regulations. Chief designer Adrian Newey, in partnership with Gran Turismo’s Kazunori Yamauchi, came up with the X2010. The car caused quite a stir when it was unveiled in GranTurismo 5, and years on its envelope-pushing design remained as revolutionary as ever.
Enter 2013, and the fictional concept racer has received a complete makeover. The result is the X2014, an evolution of the regulation-free racing breed. The car will be featured in Gran Turismo 6, scheduled for release on 6 December.
